Extend the Night Tube Network

Join the campaign to extend the night tube to all stations in Ealing & Hillingdon

Lines.pngFirst the Night Tube was meant to arrive in Ealing in September. Then the Mayor promised it would be the Autumn. Now we’re told it won’t start until next year at the earliest.

For residents living along the Uxbridge branch of the Piccadilly Line, or the South Ruislip branch of the Central Line, the Night Tube isn’t due to arrive at all.

The Mayor's consistent failure to deliver the Night Tube on schedule or in Hillingdon is indicative of his lazy approach, announcing things to great fanfare but unwilling to put the work in to make them happen. Residents are equally none the wiser as to what the Mayor will do to protect them from round the clock noise.

The latest delay will come as a major disappointment to businesses and Londoners who hoped that the service would be running by Christmas. The Mayor’s perpetual dithering over the project and his refusal to bring the dispute with staff to a close has meant the advent of the Night Tube is becoming an increasingly distant prospect.

We the undersigned call on the Mayor of London to:

  • Introduce round the clock services on the Uxbridge branch of the Piccadilly Line and the South Ruislip branch of the Central Line
  • Give a guarantee that residents suffering from any noise from the Night Tube will be properly compensated and that TfL will work with them to soundproof their homes.
  • End the never ending delay to the arrival of the Night Tube on the Ealing Broadway branch of the Central Line and the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly Line.
